Paterson² has been created by Don Paterson and Bruce Paterson to provide a non commoditized approach to risk analysis and risk transactions. Insurance and reinsurance companies have a need for a tailor made response to their risk and capital requirements. Don Paterson is an economist who conceived of and created Instrat which is currently a brand within Guy Carpenter and co-created ReMetrics currently a brand within Benfield. Bruce Paterson was the first actuary hired at AON Re. We create decision making frameworks for defining the risk characteristics of Insurance and Reinsurance companies.
